Gunners Edge Rivals 3-2 in Pulsating Encounter

Saka Nets Double as Arsenal Keep Grip on Top-Four Race

London - Arsenal held on for a pulsating 3-2 win over arch rivals Tottenham in the north London derby on Sunday, with Bukayo Saka netting a decisive penalty late in the second half to secure all three points.

The victory keeps Arsenal firmly in the race for a top-four finish in the Premier League, while Tottenham's hopes of a Champions League place took a blow.

Arsenal took the lead through Saka's penalty in the 54th minute after Gabriel Martinelli was fouled by Rodrigo Bentancur.

However, Tottenham fought back and equalized through Son Heung-Min just three minutes later.

Arsenal regained the lead through Saka again in the 55th minute, but Tottenham continued to push and levelled again through Richarlison in the 72nd minute.

With the game seemingly headed for a draw, Saka converted another penalty in the 89th minute after Harry Kane was adjudged to have fouled Takehiro Tomiyasu.
